Yesterday Nike officially announced Art of Champion, the collection depicting the most important moments in NBA playoffs of last decades.

The event took place on the ESPN channel alongside the presence of famous American basketball figures such as Ray Allen, Rasheed Wallace and Julius Erving. The 16 sneakers will represent historical moments for teams during the playoff fights but it will be mostly dedicated to those who have been decisive for the fate of the matches. Kobe Bryan, Scottie Pippen, Kawhi Leonard and others will be some of the mentors for this initiative.

The sneakers will be produced by Nike in collaboration with Jordan and Converse (already owned by Nike Inc.) and will be released during April and May. We actually only know 15 out of the 16 sneakers in production as the sixteenth will be dedicated to the winners of the NBA Finals 2018.

The first release will be in honor of Kobe Bryant; the Kobe 1 Protro Zoom will then be available starting April 14th.
