Nike 2020 Forum, an event for the presentation of Tokyo 2020 Olympics’ kits, took place during New York Fashion Week. Among the guests, there was no lack of illustrious figures from the fashion world and more.

Five great designers, longtime collaborators of Nike, were called with the aim of designing five new collections for the summer Olympics, but the scene was certainly stolen by the exclusive sneakers presented by the designers themselves.

Starting with Virgil Abloh, the American architect presented the Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk, a new silhouette that maintains the iconic Off-White’s tags and zip ties but with an upper reminiscent of the Nike P6000, except for the air unit on the heel. Yoon Ahn from Ambush has revealed a new Nike Dunk High in total pink with a plastic swoosh protruding from the upper while Chitose Abe shows the Sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle that we have already had the chance to admire. Jun Takahashi's sneaker is once again a Gyakusou x Nike Runners with a blue, black and transparent upper, a material we already had the chance to see on the Nike React Element 87. Finally, Matthew Williams, founder of ALYX, shows a rather peculiar outsole on his new collaboration, the Nike Zoom MMW 4.

The sneakers presented at the Nike 2020 Forum will most likely be released during 2020. Stay tuned for news.
