In honor of Air Max Day 2018 Nike has launched a new competition to give young designers and sneakers lovers the opportunity to create their own shoe.

London: ON AIR took place today, April 9th, in a creative and innovative space created by Nike to promote all rounded creativity in Central London but the event will also be repeated in Paris, New York, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo. Many designers will have the opportunity to choose a Nike model (among 10 of the most famous) to work on. The aim is to to express feelings for the city of London and represent them on the most suitable shoe.

The jury is presided over by two representatives of Nike (Courtney Dailey, Nike VP Creative Director of Color Design, and Nate Jobe, Nike Senior Design Director), Skepta, well-known British rapper and Nike collaborator, and Miniswoosh, influencer and participant of the RevolutionAir 2017 competition. At the end of the three days internship the three best silhouettes will be put back to a global vote and the winner will be hosted in the Nike campus in Oregon to meet the production team and turn the project into reality.

Nike London: ON AIR officially started today and will end on April 12th. Stay tuned for more news.
