It was 1996 when Nike first linked the iconic air bubble to the new Zoom technology permitting the creation of a brand new sneaker, suitable for every sport and situation.
The Nike Air Zoom Alpha uses four pods obtained by experimenting with the new technology, placed in four strategic positions on the sole of the shoe in order to adjust the stability of the foot. The vintage upper perfectly blends into today's sneaker scene, showing a bold wavy outsole that reflects the vintage style of the outgoing colorways, volt and the OG binary blue.
Both colorways of the Nike Air Zoom Alpha will be available online and in store starting Thursday, February 28.
