The long-awaited collection designed by the British artist Samuel Ross has finally been introduces in a pop-up event space at NikeLab 1948 London.

A-COLD-WALL signature features merge now with the world famous swoosh brand’s aesthetics. Comprising one pair of sneakers and three pieces of apparel, the collection’s main aim is to spread Ross’ will and intention of providing meaningful garments. Two Nike Zoom Vomero +5 will be released alongside with a parka made of Japanese nylon, drawstring track pants, a long-sleeve tee, and a cap all co-branded Nike and ACW: the sneakers in particular are made of polyurethane coatings removed in varying degrees so that each component will age at a different pace, and with a different outcome (as stated during the show, the sole of the “Clay” colourway will turn amber over time; the upper evolves to beige; the reflective finishes on the front panels become deep gray) in order to fulfill Samuel Ross purpose of “encourage users to put the shoe through wears”.

The Nike X A-COLD-WALL capsule collection will be available online starting November 29th.
