Straight out of 1996, the technology that made the Adidas Equipment line famous is back in style.
The Adidas POD-S3.1 takes its name from the P.O.D. (Point of Deflection) sole born in the mid-90s which, in addition to establishing new aesthetic standards within the German brand, brought a new wave of technological modernization to the point that the technology still is influential in our days: the three-dimensional cushioning system is developed to provide shock absorption and stability in the outsole at the point of impact. This cushioning system has been now reimagined for a new era with a flexible midsole bridge and a boost heel to create shoe purpose-built for comfort and motion.
The Adidas POD-S3.1 will be available starting June 16th online.
