Adidas' new proposal takes up the old casual habits firstly dictated by the Spezial line, now modernised but with the same soul as in the past.
The adidas Whalley SPZL are in fact inspired by the mid-'80s English casual style in which the nubuck upper reigned, with the addition of a thin suede fender overlay and semi-transparent rubber sole. The collection's apparel is also reminiscent of the hooligan style from years ago with a Lymwood Jersey and Banktop Hood showing a big logo on the chest and a spacious central pocket.
