The partnership between Virgil Abloh and Nike has again paid off, however this time exclusively focusing on sport and what football heritage left.

The 2018 World Cup in Russia inspired the founder of Off-White who, collaborating with the sports brand par excellence, created a collection entirely dedicated to football. Starting from the jerseys, based on modern kits with badges a big central technical sponsor in the middle which Virgil Abloh claimed “always very fascinated him”. In particular, the Off-White logo will be drawn in an unprecedented italic font and the badge will resemble that of the Dutch national team.

Trench coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, shorts and socks will all feature an extremely minimalist color scheme will show the now famous Off-White logo; the blue and orange dots (already previously seen on the new Mercurial Vapor 360 worn this year by Kylian Mbappè) will contribute at breaking the b/w monotony. The checkered pattern of shorts and t-shirts is based on the historical Croatian kits.

To end the collection, the Nike Zoom Fly X Off-White will be available as well, finally thinning out the leaks and confirming the upcoming double release in both black and orange.

The Nike X Off-White "Football, Mon Amour" collection will be available online and in store starting June 14th, the start of the 2018 World Cup.
