Last week we spoke about the Nike: On Air contest held in six different cities of the world and now it got to the final stage.
After an intense week of voting, the jury officially announced the six artists whose project will become reality:
Air Max 97 "London Summer of Love" by Jasmine Lasode (London)
Air Max 98 "La Mezcla" by Gabrielle Serrano (NYC)
Air VaporMax Plus "Paris Work in Progress" by Lou Matheron (Paris)
Air Max 97 "Neon Seoul" by Gwang Shin (Seoul)
Air Max 97 "SH Kaleidoscope" by Cash Ru (Shanghai)
Air Max 1 "Tokyo Maze" by Yuta Takuman (Tokyo)
As with the RevolutionAIR contest won by Sean Wotherspoon, the winner sneakers will go into production later this year and will presumably be available starting next year. Stay tuned for more information.
