During its own history, heavy Nike always gave heavy importance to events which deeply affected modern society and as always Nike tried to give its own contribution.
Following the events related to Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005, Nike released the Air Jordan 3 Katrina in a charity auction. The same model is ready, after 12 years, to see a global release: the particularity is all about the fire red dyed plastic heel tab, matching the lining and the details on the eyelets; the upper and the outer sole resemble the Jordan 3 standard.
The Air Jordan 3 Katrina will be available online starting Saturday 5 May.
