Vans pays tribute to A Tribe Called Quest with a long, fully dedicated collection.

The collaboration with the New York MCs arrives through the new Sony merchandise company The Thread Shop and offers extremely creative and eccentric sneakers. In fact, 6 different silhouettes have been presented, each with different patterns and references; the new UltraRange will be part of the line up as well, as it lends itself to its first collaboration ever.

The release includes six different models of Vans: the Slip-On, on which is represented the album cover We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service (the last one, released in 2016) and the title embroidered around the ankle support; the Era, which has on the upper all the covers of ATCQ albums but in small size; the famous Old Skool will now depict on the upper the cover of The Antology, a collection published in 1999 following the dissolution of the group during the previous year; the Sk8-Hi, another famous model from Vans, are an ode to the song Bonita Applebum and has the lyrics of the song on the shoelaces; the Authenthic will instead be entirely dedicated to Phife Dawg, a former member of the collective, who died in 2015; as already mentioned above, the new Ultra Range will be presented in a total black version with red details.

The collection is a wonderful tribute to one of the most influential groups in the rap scene of the 80s/90s and will be available online starting Friday, April 6th.
