Jordan shows us the official images of the next sneaker releasing in the next few days, the Air Jordan 1 "A Star Is Born".
Inspired by Michael Jordan's exploits, the Jordan 1 "A Star Is Born" refers to December 1984 and to the cover of Sport Illustrated from that month. It was the first time that the basketball player from North Carolina had worn the Chicago Bulls jersey on a magazine cover: the photo shows Jordan during a game against Milwaukee Bucks intent on jumping for the shot, but so great was the scope of the event that Nike has decided nowadays to portray the colors of the opposing team's uniform on the swoosh of the sneaker. The panels around the ankle include the words "A Star" and "Is Born” on the inside, with the release date of the magazine in question.
The Air Jordan 1 "A Star Is Born" inspired by Sport Illustrated magazine will be released on Thursday, 27 December in-store and online.
