From the genius of Kim Jones, a new sneaker is born in collaboration with Nike: the Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior.
Presented during the Dior Fall 2020 collection, the new Jordan takes the best from both worlds of sportswear and luxury: made in Italy to superlative standards, the silhouette is made of fine calfskin leather typical of the Maison Dior, hand painted along the edges and covered in Dior Gray, symbol of the Maison since its founding in 1947. A remix of the iconic Jumpman Wings is embossed on the upper with the words "AIR DIOR". The Nike Swoosh is made of Dior Oblique jacquard, a single symbol that represents both industry leaders at the same time.
"I love to mix different worlds, different ideas, and Jordan and Maison Dior are both emblematic of absolute excellence in their fields," Jones explains. "Gathering them in this special collaboration means proposing something exciting and truly new”.
Unfortunately, the Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior will be available exclusively in Dior stores in April. In the meantime, we can admire their fine features.
