The highly anticipated collaboration between the American artist and Nike is ready to land in the stores.
Natural successors of the Mars Yard and Mars Yard 2.0, the Mars Yard Overshoe represent the technical evolution of the previous models: the outer upper in Dynema hides an alternative version of the most famous 2.0, while the system of laces is formed by a double closure with Fidlock buckles. The toggle at the end of the outer cover guarantees the semi-waterproofness of the "sneaker". The bottom, lastly, shows “a new tread pattern, created by a small sipping at the highpoints of the outsole”, as specified by Nike herself.
The Tom Sachs X Nike Mars Yard Overshoe will be available online tomorrow, Thursday, May 9.
